SENIOR VALUATION FREEZE (SENIOR CITIZENS PROPERTY VALUATION FREEZE): homeowners age 65+ with household income within county-set limits (generally $57,500-$99,000) can freeze their assessed value; locked until property is sold, substantially improved, or transferred; apply with county assessor; no state income tax increase from this freeze.
HOMESTEAD EXEMPTION: $1,000 reduction from assessed value for qualifying owner-occupied homesteads; an ADDITIONAL $1,000 exemption available if household gross income under $30,000; apply with county assessor
ADDITIONAL HOMESTEAD EXEMPTION: for households with gross income under $30,000; apply by March 15 with the county assessor; Form OTC 994
