Maryland has a partially unified correctional system - DPSCS operates many pre-trial detention facilities statewide (including Baltimore City Detention Center), while some larger counties (Montgomery, Prince George's, Baltimore County, Anne Arundel) operate their own separate county detention centers. If an inmate is not found in the DPSCS Inmate Locator, check the county-operated detention center for that jurisdiction. Baltimore City uses DPSCS facilities for pre-trial detention.
