County-specific variations apply

Clark County (Las Vegas) has the largest jail in Nevada (Clark County Detention Center - CCDC in downtown Las Vegas) and an extensive online roster. Washoe County (Reno) also has good online access. Carson City has its own detention system. Rural Nevada county jails (Humboldt, Lander, Esmeralda, Eureka, etc.) are small and typically require direct phone calls to the Sheriff's Office - limited to no online access.
